Thousands of blue stitches were embroidered to cover this iconic red cap to transform the intention of the words "Make American Great Again". By leaving the words, but changing the color of the background, the entire perspective changes. The hat was originally made for the show "Blue" at Lisa Sette Gallery in Phoenix, staged just before the 2020 presidential election that was eventually won by Joe Biden.
