Ms. D, a friend of one of the participants, at the exhibition opening
Hear I Am presents audio recordings of 5 familiar participants that were then experiencing homelessness. Their voices emanated from  wall pedestals holding their own clothing which was embroidered with their names by the artist. In tandem, the pieces making up the work, "Set Upon", are crocheted caution tape seating cubes made by Ed - the same participant that played a large role in the Caution Field project. The coordination, embroideries and  aesthetic sound editing where done by the artist.
